U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced to recall a total 5.7 million pieces of Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottle. The reason is based on Contigo has received 149 complaints with regards to the silicone spout fell apart from the lid. This recall only involved Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottle with the black color spout base and spout cover models, being sold between the period April 2018 to June 2019 within United State, Canada and Mexico.
US Contigo headquarter suggests that US consumers to contact Contigo US customer service or visit US Contigo official website for more information regarding if the consumer purchased a defective water bottle lid, and will received a free replacement water bottle lid.
Hong Kong started to sell Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottle with black color spout base and spout cover models on August 2019 and we declare that all our products with black color spout base and spout cover models are being further tested, passed by our quality control system, traced from different production batches than the US, to ensure our products complied with The Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance of Hong Kong.

Important Safety Notice
As one of the market pioneer in hydration bottles, thermal mugs and kids water bottles, Gourmet Kitchen values safety and quality first. As part of our commitment to consumers’ safety, Contigo® in partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has initiated a voluntary recall of the lid of one of the model from Contigo® Kids Cleanable Water Bottle series.
This recall involves three different sizes (13-ounce, 14-ounce and 20-ounce) Contigo® Kids Cleanable Water Bottle with black spout base and black spout cover, sold between April 2018 to June 2019, which comes in multiple colors and graphics. These bottles were sold individually as well as in two-pack and three-pack sets.
Contigo® Kids Cleanable Water Bottle was introduced to Hong Kong in Aug 2019, where the production batches are different from the U.S. Each of the product sold in Hong Kong were required to be further tested with traceable marking to ensure our products complied with The Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance of Hong Kong

If your purchase did not meet above verification, please feel safe to continue using the bottle.
However, if your purchase match step one verification, please proceed to step two.
Step Two: Visual Features Found on the Inside of the Bottle
Push the button to open the spout, check if there is a circular identification mark inside the lid. If your purchase contained this circular identification mark, please feel safe to continue using the bottle.
Within the same area above to check if there is a “HB” identification marking on the base of lid. If your purchase contained this circular identification mark, please feel safe to continue using this bottle.
